After wasting time chasing my missed cars
It's after 8a.m. and I have a headache
Because of all the anticipation, effort, and hope
Now I sit on a wooden path wondering why I never stopped before I grew so tired
The beloved songs I sang and habits I had are instilled in those cars
They speed away with blindfolded passengers
As I went after each of them, I too was blinded
Yet now, my eyes are free and see what lays around them
And things that could be
Since I lay here and omit the world for a second
I realise that I need a cycle, not a car
The time for me to have a car and make it my blind passenger is yet to come or may never
ring the bell
